We are going to upgrade our site in many ways. One is a new design and structure. For this we need a skilled javascript/html/dhtml coder. If you think you have these skills, I want you to mail me
(divine@ballbraquers.com) with name, nick and links to sites you have made.

We're currently reprogramming the CL site, making it object-oriented.... The CL will also be moving to
a more powerful server with a better connection.
Furthermore, we're programming some new functions:
A demo section,
a training scheduler
and a message system.
The server change will be taking place in the beginning of January and all functions will hopefully be done by the end of that month.

Almost halfway the season!

Things are moving at a rapid pace now as we are halfway through the Savage Q3CTF League..how are things looking?
Things have gotten well underway and the results very close in all divisions. A wise man would not place his bets just
yet.. unless you're a good Poker player.

Last Tuesday BBQ faced AGC from Norway in a fight for the first place in the ladder. Nobody thought that
AGC would have much chance so they played with no pressure. Did they surprise the Finns or was it to be just another
raping - so common with BBQ nowadays. |

All schedules for Season 4 are up, including maps for each weeks games.
Please note that the map pool includes 2 non "standard" maps. We have opted for
[JapanCastles]
and
[Mapel4NOBFG]
as two custom maps we will use. Harshg has been ditched, i realise this might be a slighlty unpopular decision with some of its fans (including myself) but we felt to be fair to all that this was the right decision to make. All players should download these two maps, aswell as the 3wave pak which most people will allready have.
Should the new 3wave map pak be released in the next couple of months we will look at using that in the latter stages of the season allthough this will depend on a few things.

New European Q3CTF League
I found a new Q3CTF league while roaming the internet searching for QuakeCTF related material...
EQ3L Capture the Flag League is the name of this new
European Q3CTF league.
As of this moment already 29 clans signed up to compete, clans from all over Europe... clans like:
CN Chopstick Ninjas from Denmark, reigning Barrysworld Q3CTF Champions and finalists in the upcoming Final of
the ClanBase Q3CTF Cup... mTW from Germany, nEo from UK/NL/DE, NuT5 and AoS from Holland,
WC Wolfclaw from Sweden, IQS and =VS= from Belgium, oG Original Gangsta's from
the UK and a whole bunch more |

Yesterday I had an occasional meeting in IRC with Odyssey, co-owner of ClanZone which runs the EQ3L:
|Ebola|: so... when is season1 about to start ? :) aprox...
|Odyssey|: Next week... Either weekend or Monday... I have 3 places left.
SD cant take part, they have major CTF problems and might be leaving CTF... Clan E are also missing, they are having a big change in their CTF team in the future... One of the things Im looking forward too most this season is
AoS and Nut5 playing again...

This new League seems like it's going to be quite good as most teams in the League are of Div1,Div2 material and so most
matches should be close and most important fun!
