Q3 CCTF Mod ClassicCTF - News...

[cctf]ark: Really not much left code-wise. Waiting on the completion of some maps and updates to all 5 current maps before 0.99c will be release. We should have somewhere near 10 maps ready for 0.99c, which will be the LAST BETA version of CCTF.

Q3CTF TeamPlay.net ICR 5 Matches... USA by Caitiri @ www.gamepig.com

Two matches finished up week 3 of ICR 5.

ZEN -vs- Digital Annihilation
First, ZEN broke their two-game losing streak by defeating Digital Annihilation rather soundly in a three game sweep. DigA was playing with a very HPB, which didn't help their situation. The first map, Troubled Waters, saw ZEN take the map 5-0. The second map, Courtyard Conundrum, saw DigA get their first caps of ICR; ZEN kept control easily however, and won the map 8-2. In the final map of Finnegan's Revenge, ZEN finished their sweep winning 7-1.
Read the entire match report on their [battle page].

Havoc -vs- asian Express... Forfait
The other match of the night, between Havoc and asian Express, looked to be one of the good ones for the week. aE ended up forfeiting the match, and disbanding shortly thereafter.

Standings
With week 3 over, let's look at the standings. In the Atlantic division, Havoc is one point ahead of virus23 (Havoc have tied a map while v23 has lost one). Prediction is 4 points ahead of The Peacemakers, who lost to virus23 this week. Odyssey has a commanding lead in the Mountain division, 8 points ahead of their nearest rival deviate (this will change once the final game between sac & xd is played). And in the Pacific, Elite Strike is 4 points ahead of relentless.

Week 4 ends on July 5th, and so far one match is already scheduled for Saturday between The Peacemakers and deoxyribonucleic acid.
