Play-Offs

As you might have noticed, there is now a link to the Playoffs page on the

site. So scoot on over to check it out...
[Play-Offs]
Week 1:
Has started and ends on Sunday the 4th of March 23:59.
Week 2:
Ranges from the 5th of March to the 11th.
Week 3:
Ranges from the 12th of March to the 18th.
Week 4:
Ranges from the 19th of March to the 22nd.
The clans are themselves responisble for arranging the fights with their opponents. If a team has two fights in one week, they are to be given priority when deciding on a match date.

After slaving away all night and thanks to the help of numerous Clan players who were around on IRC in #q3ctf and elsewhere i have managed to get my
[review of Season 4]
of the BarrysWorld Q3CTF League completed.
This is probably the biggest review i have ever done, i didn`t bother doing a word count but i know its "lots". There are the usual stats for the season, along with a look at how each division
developed, my views on each clans season and the views of one or two participants from clans in each division.

Well this clan doesn't really need an introduction. Last year winners are still going strong. There is no
doubt they are among the favourites of this cup. With solid teamplay and impressive quadruns they, to be honest, owned everyone last playoffs. Now everyone knows them, there may be some more resistance.

2 Fine maps... But both clans where afraid of eachother so there were not much attacks... But all had fun :)

The CLL (CL Ladder) season has ended... CL Playoffs next !

Last Sunday, at 23:59 cet, the ladder season ended... player transfers are no longer permitted. This is to prevent players from eliminated teams from joining teams that are still in the competition, for maybe only a match or two. Your current roster is thus the players you are allowed to use in the upcoming matches.
Added rules for the playoffs.
Due to the regrettable circumstances, we have decided on two additions to the rules for the playoffs.
1. Everybody playing must record a demo.
2. Specs are limited to one per team, unless your opponent allows you to have more than one.
Specs may ONLY spec their own players in chase mode and MUST record a demo.
F1 banned for the usage of timers
We took the decision to ban the team for two weeks. Meaning that F1 will thus miss the playoffs. The decision was taken by seven of our admins, after having viewed demos.
It is a sad day when even a team in the top ten teams use timers, and it is with no joy I write this. Let this be the final attempt to cheat.

Season-4
update: BWQ3CTF S4 Completed

After last nights Div1 triumph by IQS, the final 2 outstanding divisions were
settled tonight in the BarrysWorld
Q3CTF League. Division 2 was won by DmN with SyN close behind, whilst
Division 4B was won by 3P who edged out GoD with a better cap difference.
The season is of course now completed, and hopefully news will be available
soon on Season 5 of the league. In the mean time look out for my end of season review which shall be appearing on this site sometime in the next week.

The Ninjas from Denmark proved they are still at the top of the scene by playing a great tactical match against RaW from the Netherlands and winning with 17 caps to 1.

A new season, a new start, new rules. Clans PIS and Belgian Capperz had the honours of kicking off Cupseason Spring 2001, filled with lots of changes. No non-allowed proxies or timers and the screenshot rule are two of the most important changes this season.

"We have enjoyed ourself this season. Barrysworld League is very nice to play cause the rules are great and you have good fixed servers. The admin work is very good and we had no problems. The competition with CN and nEo was very hard
and the only bad point is all the default wars due to abandons."

In the BarrysWorld Q3CTF League things are drawing to a close in Season 4, and Sundays action saw the crowning of 2 further Divisional Winners. Taking the Division 1 & Overall title were IQS whose victory over UtI confirmed this...

Also winning their division were DX (Division 4A), who join n2s (Division
3A) and SF (Division 3B) as divisional winners. Monday night will see the completion of the other divisions,
where DmN look set to win Division 2 and GoD Division 4B.

In SavageUK`s Q3CTF League last night saw the first evening of games in their 4th Season. There were quite a
few defaults, some notable results include nEo`s default win over CN in Div1,
IQS hammering GM in Div2, a big win for Rv over BiO in Div3, CTF newboys HAT
easily beating CTF oldschool TJD in Div4, nV having a surprisingly big win over
SPS in Div5 and only 1 20min game taking place in Div6.
