The Quake3 CCTF | Death-Row competition is totally different from the usual ladder, league or cup formula...
Although the DeathRow formula can be used for any type of game or mod this particulair one is for Q3CCTF
and is ment as an extra opportunity to play besides the regular leagues...

would like to invite everyone on our mailing list to take part in a public beta test of a new map currently in production by Scancode + Slash named "Cold Crossings"

on Saturday, February the 17th. It's never been seen before, but it's sure to be a hit. The map will be made available on Saturday at Noon PST and a server will be set up for this test starting at 4pm PST. You will be e-mailed as to where you can download the map and the ip of the server, so make sure you're on our mailing list.
Your comments and suggestions will be used to help improve this level and will also be used to improve the ThreeWave/Classic CTF Unification project as a whole. For the people that file the best 'beta reports' we will be giving away a couple of positions for the private beta tests of the ThreeWave levels, and if Chris Donahue's package for Casey ever arrives [cough] we'll have some Nvidia stuff to give away too. To participate all you need is your e-mail address on our mailing list, a copy of Quake III and the first ThreeWave CTF level pak. Any questions regarding this public beta test can be answered by myself via email at chillin@threewave.com

We are looking in to the possibility of arranging a b-playoffs for the lower ranked clans. We will post more info on this when we have some.

lux win JAG for 12th spot...

First map was ctf5 and lux were very lucky and got amp, dis and doc. Their attackers did a good job and wiped out JAG's base after a couple of mins.
PIE capped first after 2 mins, then Dekkard, then
PIE again. After 5 mins there was a little cross steal, but JAG's FC was killed after a couple of minutes. After this lux kept capping in a sturdy pace and the map ended 11-0.
Next up was ctf3, lux were blue and JAG were red. lux got the amp and dis and two quick caps the first minutes but then both teams got the flags and held them for maybe 8 mins before JAG's FC was killed. Lano managed to make one cap for JAG shortly after that, but lux were too strong. Both bases were lost near the end and it was chaotic as usual on ctf3 :) Final score here was 5-1 making it 16-1 total to lux.

The ClanBase Q2CTF 'Spring 2001' cup, also know as the 'Modified Q2CTF Cup' ;) because you may use external Tools(4Fools)
as long as their features can be viewed by anyone on the server and are approved by the cup supervisors who happen to favour
the use of external tools, is about to begin...
First match scheduled to be played is a game in the Second-League between BC and PIS on February 19th...
duff plays Hg in the Premier-League on February the 21th...
AGC replaces BtB

BtB couldn't make it this Cup after all, so we think we found a good replacement with AGC which are currently #3 in the OGL and #8 in the Championsleague.
The only problem we have now is that group A looks stronger then group B but we couldn't fix that anymore because it would mean redoing all the groups again and as you know the Cup starts in a few days already.

Last tuesday week2 of season1 was played in Savage's q3CCTF league... Warscenery was Q3CCTF4 'Desert Cemetary'...
Both Season-0 league Champions nAo and Cup winners TAWM won their games...
TAWM lead division-1 with ZP and nAo on their tail and both UKSG and CGA share
the same amount of points in Division-2 with UKSG having a better capture ratio and are therefor ranked first.
This season the League is divided into 2 divisions with the following clans:
Division-1 :

Last Sunday =YWN= Your Worst Nightmare won the SavageUK Q2CTF Season 12 Cup...
SCR put up a good fight in the 30 minute final on q2ctf2, but =YWN= were just too powerful.
Congratulations to =YWN= and SCR for a fine performance in the cup.
Result: 9-4 to =YWN=

Clan SeKo
recieved
a two week ban

After re-joining the league with a new name and new members, clan SeKo (former clan KoFF) made another misjudgement by using a proxy prohibited by the CL rules. Therefore they have been given this two week ban and are not allowed to play in the 'playoffs'. This also means that their victory against E18 in todays fight is turned into a loss.

Qualifying for the playoffs

As you all probably know, the teams have until Sunday the 18th 23:59 cet to start playing the final match of the season.
Since our challenge system is a bit slow, we have decided to allow teams to make a final challenge to be played on sunday (the 18th). What this means is, that if a team is free on friday (the 16th) a challenge can be made for sunday, even though the system only allows you to challenge for the week after. All to create tension and excitement for the playoffs, to give the teams below the playoff line an extra chance and finally to prevent stalling.

IQS faced off against CN Sunday in a match which has probably decided the
outcome of the BarrysWorld Q3CTF League Division 1 title this season. I won`t spoil it by telling you
