I found out about this 'competition' after reading a news item called
Q2 Grappling contest posted by Kj @ www.Championsleague.org

SBD, founder of the Grapple 'Competition' posted a forum message on the
www. SavageUniverse .com site here: [forum|post]

SBD: Basically you cap for top postition get a demo of it and send it me. I check the time and update the scores accordingly...

Barrysworld's Season5 All*Stars Game - by |Ebola|

On Monday the 25th of June Barrysworld run a 'All-Stars' game with players from the Barrysworld Q3CTF league.

Admin Bigfoot picked 2 captains, D3sp (clan nV) and NightFever (clan SS) who had to pick players in turns for their team...

The players had to be selected from clans playing in Division-1 during the last Season (5)... They were only allowed to pick 1 squad member from each clan.

Admin Bigfoot: We haven't decided time/maps yet but there will be GTV etc for what promises to be a very entertaining set of games.

Nightfever at challenge-eu interviewed former Clan E player Ethereal who is now playing in the new Q3CTF clan WR...

 Champions : Savage Season-1 (july 2000)
 Champions : Savage Season-2 (september 2000)
 Champions : Savage Season-3 (december 2000)
 2nd (Silver) : ClanBase Cup Fall 2000 (december 2000)

Clan E retired from Q3CTF after playing their last game in the ClanBase Cup Spring 2001 (May 2001) where they reached the semifinals but lost to IQS who also won the Final and became Champions.

IQS Season5 Champions...
The BarrysWorld Quake3 CTF League finally completed Season 5 last night with the Div4a and Div3b titles being decided. The final winners list now looks like this:

Division 1   - IQS - International Quake Squad
Division 2   - BiO - Bring it On
Division 3a - LKFF - Loz Kampoz Fragging Force
Division 3b - WC - WolfClaw
Division 4a - GOS - Gamers of Sweden
Division 4b - HaH - Heaven and Hell

Season-8|Half way through... - by LJ @ SavageUniverse

DS are still unbeaten in Division1 as are AFC in Division2. 5 wins out of 5 for both teams sees them on 15 points each. AFC though have only a 2 point lead between them and iM who are in second place. DS on the other hand now have a 4 point lead over [FRE] in Division1. GnA are only 1 point behind them though with HC & TJD sharing 4th spot on 8 points and SMaK bringing up the rear on 7 points. Division2 is quite similar but 3rd place [S-D] are 4 points behind 2nd spot iM on 9 points with +DiE+ hanging on to 4th spot 1 point behind them and both D2k and MkM joint bottom one 7 points.
