SavageUK Q2CTF Season 10 / Week 1

- Q2 dying? Nah! - by [savage]Slave
If last Sunday was anything to go by, there is no way Q2ctf is about to drop off the players list of games to play. Season10 of the SavageUK q2ctf League proved that there is as much interest in q2ctf as there was before q3 was released .. There were no defaults last Sunday and the results and tables have now been updated.

BBC v LE (ctf3) (division-1 match) - by [BBC]Kagemusha
BBC had a great couple of games last Sunday against LE who were, as usual, sporting, competative and Bloomin Good! They gave us a good hard game, both clans pushing each other to the limit. Thanks specially to LE-Gemini and his other ****** midfielder friends who made my PS job pretty much impossible. But, thankfully we managed to hold out, Mattcake especially sexy on the quad, and took two wins. Good games all!

After another week of some storming games the results for week5 are now up and the tables have been updated .. Please note that at the moment the fixture pages are one week behind date wise. As an example Week6, which is this coming weekend, is showing as 18/6/00 instead of 25/6/00. Apologies and expect this to be fixed asap.

Season 2: Week 6

[bwq3l]Admin:
A mixed response to our first proper custom map (q3mlctf2 Ruines Canyon) to be used in about 16 weeksworth of games, a few sides didn't like its overly defensive nature but others found it an interesting and challenging change to the usual CTF maps, and it did produce some interesting results with a lot of very tight (tense) games.

During the course of this season FlameTop and other match admins have been recording some demos. You can find these by going to (ftp bwq3ctfl) If you have any demos that you wish to put on the BarrysWorld ftp space, please upload them to the incoming directory on the same ftp and we will move them to a publically available location on the ftp site.

Defective Gummy Bears vs Vicious Circle
Results from last night included a bunch of forfeit's, the most notable being Defective Gummy Bears taking 21st from Vicious Circle who fall to 31st. VC has now challenged Sluts Incoporated who recently defended their #28 posistion.

Blacktongue vs RailWhores
17th ranked bt (8/2) will challenge the 9th ranked [RW](8/6) for a spot in the top ten tonight. Maps being offered are Courtyard, Bloodlust and The Stronghold. Should be a pretty good match.

Fallen Angels vs Little Green Men
LGM (1/7) will defend the 48th spot from the undefeated FA (#53,2/0). Maps offered are Courtyard, Stronghold and Troubled Waters.

The Shadow Council vs Paradise Lost
#70 Paradise Lost (1/0) will battle the 0/2 Shadow Council tonight for 66th place. Maps offered are Dueling Keeps, Bloodlust and Finegans Revenge.
