As some of you might be aware by now there's a new proxy out made by Clan DCB. Now I guessing some of you will of downloaded it and tried it out .. No probs with that .. However you must rememeber that proxies are banned in Savage so please make sure it's off your system by Sunday or else you'll be kicked off the server .. ta

STUFF STUFF STUFF STUFF STUFF STUFF

Do you want to work for a game site ?
Then LadyIce (Michelle Marie MacLellan), member of the PlanetQuake crew, has some tips for you:

Volunteer to do news, or a weekly feature for one of the big gaming sites (there are so many sites that need help out there...you just have to be persistent and resourceful); submit relevant articles or editorials on a regular basis. Show that you're interested and enthusiastic about what you do, and that you're going to be responsible and dedicated, and not just stick around for a month or so.

You'll need excellent writing skills (grammar and spelling are a biggie here!), a knowledge of html, and how to structure/maintain a website. You'll need to be creative and flexible, with LOTS of free time, and a good sense of humour.

You'll need to be able to deal "professionally" with lots of different types of personalities; and most of all, you'll need patience. Don't expect to get paid for what you do either, because despite the common misconception that these are paying jobs, most are not! It takes a strong love of the game and its community to do what the majority of us do :)
