Savage League Q2CTF This Sunday... - by [savage]EluSiVe

Since Savage was unfortunately cancelled last week it has been decided that all games from 7pm (UK Time) will be played... The schedule is same as last sunday. Would clans turn up on time please and lets hope for better server performance.

Note that Sunday's games are on Q2CTF05b and not on LFCTF2 like the fixtures indicate.

This Sunday... Prelude to the finale - by [savage]Grunt

Division-1: Clan Happychaps - HC - Look set to be treble winners of Savage with a five point lead over the Spooks, they only need one win over TF to secure victory. The Cowboys from Hell have quit the league, so it's down to DS and CK to decide the unlucky drop below. Both clans have tough games tonite, DS's one point lead will be enough, unless CK manage a fluke win against BBC. Of course if the rumors are true, this season will be BBC's and SPK's last, meaning a large shake up for season ten.

Division-2: The untouchable ROK are likely to be Divison 2 winners, with a 6 point and 26 cap lead over Hg. Both clans will be playing in division one next season if they accept :) eXe have quit, so looks likely TJD will get sent down :(

Division-3: The divison 3 top spot fight is far more interesting, with only 1 point separating CBSI and QID. Easy games for each, QID will just have to hope CGA can get at least one win :) LD50 sneak promotion with 3 clans going up due to higher placed clans leaving. APO and Abfab are doomed to fall down.

Division-4: Division 4 winner is hard to judge as DW have a match in hand, either way, DW =PS= and FRE make the move upwards. Looks like QC and SPAM have both quit the league with ten default losses each...

Division-5: ... which means a whopping five clans move out of division 5. Should be a cracker of game with AFC and YWN playing each other to decide who wins the bottom division. Good news for the Savage academy hopefuls though, as there'll be loads of free slots needing replacing :)

Q3CTF Upcoming Matches - by Caitiri @ www.gamepig.com
thursday reports

OGL Open Ladder:
* The biggest match-up is the reschedule of the relentless/ZEN match for #1. They're expected to start at 10PM EDT, but with any west/east match there might be numerous delays at finding a neutral server. ZEN has offered w1, w2 and ctf1, but no word yet on which rl will choose; ZEN's last match against Pm was on w2.
* Another big match playing tonight is between Hong Kong Action and Michigan Liberation Army. They play at 9:30PM EDT, HKA is defending the #4 spot. Bugzer, rocket jumping fool that he is, just left MLA and is now with asian Express; we'll have to see if MLA (a mixture of mostly Q3DM people) will be hurting after the loss of one of their few primarily CTF players.
* Never Ending Assault has challenged Kitten's Litter for #28, they play at 10PM EDT
* Fallen Angels play Psycho Soldiers for #71 at 9PM EDT

Q3CTFL:
* The biggest match-up to date plays tonight between The Untouchables and synaptic (who last week defeated Elite Strike to advance). They're scheduled to start at 12AM EDT; expect both teams to bring their top players and plan for one hell of a match.
* Also in the west winners bracket, wfk will play Sorry Ass Clan at 10PM EDT; this match should be great, both teams have been kicking major arse lately.

BCTFL BannockBurn Q3CTF League - by Caitiri @ www.gamepig.com

Match Briefs
A whole mess of matches played out tonight in the BCTFL.

The Peacemakers defeated Wicked Mojo in two maps, 10-1 (w3) & 9-1 (w2)

underground quakers took care of two matches tonight, getting them all caught up for the week. First, they played Vicious Circle for week 2; VC won the match in two maps: 10-1 (japanctf), 3-0 (ctf2). uq then went back and played Invisible Invincibles, and defeated them in two maps: 5-0 (ctf3) & 7-1 (w3).

Havoc and asian Express played out their week 1 match; aE won the first map, but tied 0-0 on the second. The server did not have sudden death enabled, and the map will be replayed.

BCTFL Makes Uploading Demos Easier - by [www.captured.com]Kerbuffel
The Bannockburn CTF League has a new feature for clans that will make uploading demos of their matches easier. They've set up a FTP server so that you can just log in and upload them without any hassle. This, compared to the previous system where you had to attach the demos to carrier pigeons, it's exponetially easier. ;) If you want to upload your Bannockburn CTF League match demos, head over to the BCTFL site for all the details.
