Q2CTF New Year Cup -
Sunday January 2, 2000, from 4pm.
It will be a straight knock-out, and there will be no techs. :)
There shall be played on q2ctf5 - "Capture Showdown" and the final rounds will be played on
q2ctf2k1 - "Darclomons Altar".
These maps don't include a quad damage so the team that has the best real team play
and skilled players (at that moment ;) will win because there are no techs also...
I wanna play... I like both maps and I like playing CTF without Quad and Techs...

Big Shot
This is just a test map to figure out the editor, those curve things, q3ctf entities and entities like candles and fires.
Nothing special.
Its a map with open spaces and smaller corridors.
It still looks ugly and the lightning has to be improved but you can play ctf on it anyhow.

Its possible to run full pelt at the window, then as long as you are looking at the
correct angle, quickly (and I mean quickly, dab your duck+fps bind and voila, you are
in the window about to drop onto the railroom floor and back at your normal fps :)

Yep its a new way of getting into the railroom, it was found in Sweden and the Swedes told a few UKers.. I know GenX use this coz I have seen them.. and they are really good at it.. dunno if they would like to tell us how its done tho?

I believe it was found by vynn of clan es, some american ctf clan about a year ago. not by swedes.
I knew about it a year ago, but couldn't use it cos the british servers were running bw-admin with the stupid 80 maxfps thing.
Yes, all genx members know how, because we used to be playing on servers without bw-admin a lot.
Anyway, it's a secret how we do it on servers running bw-admin, even with the 80 maxfps thing on :)
