"First semi-final played, ZP knocks TQA out of the cup"
ZP v TQA: 26-5 (ctf2/lfctf1/ctf1/ctf5)
After Au (clan Gold) left the cup due to member problems

a new play-offs schedule was made... NO and TQA moved up one place resulting in the following play-offs:
ZP v TQA / DTF v NO ... TQA, fourth after the group-matches, suddenly had a new chance to win the cup... unfortunately for them, they didn't make it and got knocked out of the cup by ZP, the first clan to reach the final in where they will fight the winner of the DTF v NO semi-final...
ZP 's better dmskills made the difference....

Play-Offs...
The number 1 of each group plays against the number 2 of the other group in the semi-finals.
The winners play for the title (final), the losers play for third place.

Q3CTF Cup Play-offs...
Cx v VS this evening...
This evening Cx and VS fight each other for the last open place in the semi-finals.
The original opponent of Cx was Au (clan Gold) but they decided to quit the Q3CTF cup just before the
play-offs and therefor VS has a new chance to win the cup... and ofcourse earn a place in CTF Observer's
Hall of Fame :)

I spoke to [cls]Ve who is reprogramming the site, and he is making nice progress. He told me that he expected that he had completed 70% of the workload. We just have to reroute the DNS to point to the new webhost and then the news section will be up. (If we just can get a hold of Pacifer *grmbl*).

Cup Part 2 -
PREDICTIONS for next Sunday -

Ok second round we have:
2A: Clan :) or smile vs 2nd placed winner of Group H, which looks likely to be DW. Now smile is the phoenix from the ashes of SPKs and Au, but then again they were beaten twice by DS, :) winners me thinks.
2B: Hg vs the winner of Group H has to be CK, to me they look pretty evenly matched squads, judging from the way CK played in the Justice Cup I’d have to see CK going to the quarter-finals.
2C: LD50 vs the 2nd place clan out of Group G. Hmm now is SS in the cup or not, or is it INSKs? Then again we have RfC, who look like the re-born Dutch clan, BAD. Pings on their side I’ve have to say an easy win for RfC.
2D: YWN plays the victors of Group G, which is likely to be BBC. Minnows beating the giants? Naa game to BBC.
2E: Beloved clan HC vs Az, why of course victory to the chaps! :)
2F: RAGE take on LE, could be a cracker of game if rage can field a full squad. I’d love LE to win, but then again I can see them being railed off the map :(
2G: CBSI and TF, have to side with TF the larger than life chaps on this, solid squad, no trouble for them.
2H: =PS= caused a minor upset beating TF in their group, cheating aside ROK don’t lose often, hmm toughie...go with PS :)
Which nicely takes us on to the Quarter Finals:
QF1: Looks likely to be smile taking on =PS= umm I’ve no idea who smile actually play under their alias’s, but assuming they play their best squad :) all the way.
QF2: Could be TF and CK here, strength wise I’d put them pretty even, gotta be TF otherwise Bats will be shouting on IRC!
QF3: My predictions point to an all dutch game here with RAGE taking on RfC. Going off clanbase results can’t see rage losing.
QF4: Last game of the Quarters has the potential to be the best of the cup! Will BBC and HC meet again for an all mightly clash? BBC have always been an under achieveing clan considering the quality players they can field, then again previous records show the odds to be in HC’s favour.
Nearly there...the semi finals...
SF1: Well if HC can manage a win, then they walk straight into the grudge match with :) Many an unkind word spoken between the clans. Way too close to call but hey smile! Suck it down :P
SF2: RAGE vs TF? I’ve been assuming rage will actually field a full squad, unlike their previous games, TF out-classed? Probably...
The big one...FINAL!
Would be great with HC playing TF, second thoughts could be :) vs RAGE erk. Hmm if HC get through to the semis and beat smile then I’d have to tip them whatever the opponents. Soo many choices, gonna look totally biased if I pick HC, so I’ll
say BBC or RAGE for champions :D
