Savage Council -versus- ClanBase Crew --- Q2CTF This Sunday !

[ClanBase]Talita:
The SavageCouncil has challenged the ClanBase crew for a Q2CTF match. Naturally we accepted this challenge with two conditions: "no BFG and no crying when you get spanked".
ClanBase will field the following players: bS, SelfBias, Amsterdam Rob, El Bundy and Godsmurf. Every professional team has a coach so we will have two: Orion and Talita. Orion and me developed the following strategy: DM'er Godsmurf will remain in base so he won't get lost. bS will attack and generally fool around with the Savage defenders. The rest of the team will exchange dirty jokes.
The match is scheduled for Sunday 22:30 CET, our level: CTF2.

[savage]Slave:
The people that 'could' play in the Savage team:
- Slave (UC)
- Rico (TJD)
- LittleJohn (DS)
- Elusive (CBSi)
- DeadMode (eXe)
- Chrono.naut (eXe)
- RobinHood (DS)
- Mrs B (TF)

SavageUK Q2CTF Smash The Council into a bloody pulp this Sunday !
by [savage]Slave

On Sunday May 3rd 1998 The SavageUK League played its first ever 'match' and as part of our 2 year birthday and to thank you guys for making the SavageUK Leagues the best leagues in the world the SavageUK council would like to invite clans to 'take us on'.

So if you'd like to try and smash the council into a bloody pulp this Sunday then mail us at savagecouncil@savageuk.com with your clan name, map, and time you'd like to play.

Games will be of the 20 min (no ping restrictions) variety on a map of your choice (as long as it's on the server). As soon as we have a list of clans that want to take us on a schedule will be drawn up with games being played between 7pm and 10pm.
This is the first in what we hope to be many birthday items that we'll be doing over the next month or so and will end with us (and I hope as many as you lot as possible) all getting very very drunk at the SavageLAN.

friday report
NSM versus !TB: 22-0 (ctf1/ctf2)

[NSM]Zork:
We fought !TB on CTF1 & CTF2. [!TB]Drutten had made a poll on his url if they would win this match or not. Luckily we made our fans happy, about 80% i think:)

On CTF2 we played really good and only gave !TB 1 quad i think, the rest was ours. Outcome 10-0 to us. Not so much i would say. We do need to practice this one more.
On CTF1 we had a really slow start, after 10-0 on CTF2 !TB decided to play really defensive, it took about 6 minutes before first !TB showed up in our base:) But after awhile we had put their defences down. And we started to cap, alot. Outcome 12-0 to us.

Thanx !TB for a nice fight and just tell us when you want to play again, you are always welcome.

Q3CTFL Match: RTM vs vp - by Caitiri @ www.gamepig.com
In the first upset of q3ctfl, Rape The Morgue defeated voodoo people in two maps. The first map, vp's choice of Finnegan's Revenge was very close game, but ended 2-1 in RTM's favor. RTM's choice was Dueling Keeps, and they jumped out to a quick lead that vp hacked away at, but were unable to tie it at the last minute, leaving RTM the win 7-6. Look for demos, screenshots and a more detailed write-up on the q3ctfl site shortly. [ Q3CTFL ]
