      NowTV - BarrysWorld & The Network of the World - by Tinky @ BarrysWorld
BarrysWorld are pleased to announce a partnership with NOW [i] (Network of the World), the innovative converged TV and internet service. In an unprecedented industry move, the deal will see the two broadcast online games tournaments live on both TV and the Internet for the first time, beginning in September.

The Quake III Arena European Championship [i], launched and hosted by BarrysWorld, will be the first tournament to benefit from this unique new partnership. You can find out more information in this Press Release.
Is it not bad enough that demos can show just how much you suck at games, now they have to show it on the telly as well ?!

BarrysWorld BWQ3L-CTF New Season News
The timescale for Season 3 is as follows: Participating clans will be confirmed by the 30th of July, with Preliminary Divisions being posted during the first week of August for clans to look at and amend. Divisions will be finalised and full schedules posted on the 6th/7th of August, with the league commencing on Sunday the 13th of August.

Division-1: Week 4 over and PS have a 2 CAP lead only in D1. DS are hot on their tails as both teams have maximum points going into week 5 where they meet for the first time on 3tctf9.

Division-2: While in D2 ZOO get their 4th win in a row to pull ahead by 3 points now at the top of D2

[zoo]Ebola: Last Sunday we played 3tctf5 "The Sewer" and, as always in 3teamCTF, some silly things happend.
First silly thing I noticed was while adminning the "GnA v UKSG v FRE" game... one of the green team, I think it was [GnA]Cyber!, stole red flag and got killed in red base above the grate with the mega within... the flag dropped right into the grate... nice spot to hide a flag :)
Second silly thing was in my own game, "TJD v WkB v ZOO"... We (zoo) were blue and I, unlike other times, was on defense the whole game long... [zoo]Baal was also defending our base... well Baal thought he was ;) ... After baal got killed in the first minute of the game he returned to the wrong base... the green one. The green and blue teams are sometimes hard to keep apart... so once in the wrong (green) base, Baal started to defend the base there ;) and kept asking for a powershield... I dropped powershield but no one came to collect it. Baal started to ask for a ps again, I dropped it again... no one came to pick it up etc etc... so, after some fights in green base Baal went after someone of his own team who stole the green flag, Baal thought he was defending own base remember, and then finally he noticed that he was defending the wrong base ;))

About...
The Savage Q2 3tCTF league (CTF with 3 teams) is a friendly league for enjoyable teamplay, No swearing at others or about the server... the league is played without Techs and Quad. One game of 30 minutes is played. Winner gets 3 points, Second gets 2, Third gets 1 point... the score is based on captures only.

Saturday - July 22

        Savage launches Q3CCTF league - by [savage]IT @ SavageUK
Q3CCTF is off the ground. We are now taking registrations for the first season of the Q3CCTF league. Initally we are hoping to start with a cup, to assess both interest and how many divisions will be necessary. The league should be running on a Tuesday night. The CCTF Servers are up and running...

The Cup will be played over 2 Sundays starting on 23/07/00 and finishing on 30/07/00.
Games will be played between 5pm until 10pm. BST
