CL/CLL Q2CTF - Troubles !

I'm sorry to say this... - by [CL/CLL]Divine -

As you might have noticed a number of different bugs have appeared on the site, which none is easy to fix atm. The league will stay at this shape further on until we've been able to repogram the site. This domain name will dissapear aswell, if we not find another dns server / webhost. If you have one, know of any, please let us know so we can keep this league.

We are also very sad to announce that this means that there wont be any new season of CL or CLL. Thanks alot for you interest in our site so far, and I really hope we can find a sollution as soon as possible.

So you've downloaded the Justice Cup Final Demo .. you get all excited about watching it .. and then find that it craps out after about 8 mins? No problems .. I've created a new version for you to download here which has been put though splitdemo for your viewing pleasure. [nexus]BurN! : This was the second time ever nexus played a CTF war.. no taktix, no timers, no training :) and even no map knowledge.. It was even the first time I saw the Lfire map .. the same for the other nexus players :) but it was fun :)

Retro v XnC: 30-1 - (ctf1/ctf5)
Q2CTF1: 'the quad map, Retro doesnt use a timer (not even a wav file)... retro won'
Q2CTF5: 'Retro just walked over XnC...'

Q3 CCTF - ClassicCTF - New Beta Soon - by: [www.captured.com]Kerbuffel

A new beta will be released either this weekend or the one after. The beta will include alll the new features that have been announced since the last beta, and two new maps. One of the new maps will be Nuke's Q2CTF4 inspired map. Classic CTF is a mod looking to bring back all the cool stuff we had in Quake/2, and put it in Quake 3. It's a cool mod and has some serious potential.

OGL Q3CTF Wicked Mojo Takes Over #4 Spot On OGL - by Caitiri @ www.gamepig.com
The match between Wicked Mojo and c@ck just concluded; the last time these two teams met was a little over two weeks ago, but the result tonight was quite different. In a surprise, WM chose the same map they did last time, Finnegan's Revenge.

The map started with both flags gone rather quickly, and a few minutes of standoff. WM was finally able to kill c@ck's flag carrier and return it for the cap. WM managed another quick cap, then another flag standoff ensued; WM's flag carrier finally blew himself up and c@ck returned for the cap. By the end of the match, WM had managed 3 more caps to c@ck's 1, leaving the final score at 5-2 in WM's favor.

Wicked Mojo improves their record to 7-4 while c@ck drops to 8-6. A very intense match all around, one we were able to carry on QTV, so be sure to grab the demo [ here ]

The Q3CTFL is finally starting up its tournament this week, and the first week promises some exciting matches already. It's a double-elimination tourney with east and west divisions, but instead of pitting the tough teams against the weak, this tournament is focusing more on bringing the community together and placing teams of similar skill into the same bracket. Gamepig is proud to host this tourney, look for match updates, qtv and other goodies you can only find at Gamepig!
