BarrysworldQ3League CTF - Season 2: WEEK 2 (May 21/22)

Week 2's games concluded and there were the usual mix of 1-sided dominations and tight low and high scoring games. Week 3's map will offer a completely different type of challenge, and should make for some fast paced action.

Departing from the league are Q7, Clan 7, CTF and WK.
Replacing them are AAA, UKSG and G.O.D.

Benelux Cup - Spring 2000

Retro v RiP: 7-3 - (ctf2/sumactf6) - Report at ClanBase: [ report ] [ demos ]
Q2CTF2: 'Retro keeps pounding on the midfield which results in quadcontrol...'
SUMACTF6: 'RiP had too many players on defence: quadcontrol for Retro...'
[admin]852/Keats: Retro beats RiP by a fair margin, but not convincingly... Quad control played a vital role in both maps, like always...

By defeating RiP with 7 against 3 captures Retro finished second behind PDL in the Second-League... Altough one match remains to be played (WOG v RiP) PDL and Retro are safe on position 1 and 2 and promote to the Premier-League !
WOG and RiP will battle for the number 3 and 4 positions... nexus finished last.

BTW: [admin]852/Keats wrote a nice lengthy match report... a must-read :) The sumactf6 report is more like a fairytale then a match report :) very nice to read :))

Q2CTF Cup... POLL: Who will reach the final ? - Ebolalala -
ZP will meet NO and Au will meet DTF in the play-offs!
To refresh your memory here are the poule winners and their results:
Poule-A: (1) ZP (2 wins) - (2) DTF (1 win /1 loss)
Poule-B: (1) Au (4 wins) - (2) NO (3 wins / 1 loss)
Note that results versus clans that left the cup are not included ! (poule-a)

Play-Offs
The number 1 of each group plays against the number 2 of the other group in the semi-finals. (ZP v NO / Au v DTF)
The winners play for the title (final), the losers play for third place.

Q3CTF Cup... First match in the play-offs this evening...
This evening the first match will be played in the Q3CTF Cup Play-Offs...
NuT5 and II battle it out in a "best of 5 maps" match...
Both clan choses 1 (best of 3) or 2 (best of 5) home map(s). In the case of a best of 5 maps, a clan has to select two different maps, and they will be played in the order they are specified.
Since the play-offs are knock-out matches a clan must defeat every opponent they play to win the Cup !
