OGL Online Gaming League - Ray Graham (RazorCut) Departs as President of OGL

Ray Graham, Jr., co-founder of the Online Gaming League, announced his resignation as president of the organization today. Ray, alongside James Stearns, created the first GameLadder in March of 1998 and brought collaborative, official competitive gameplay to Quake players worldwide. Opening the OGL with three game ladders, consisting of Quake2 only, and roughly 100 participants, Ray leaves the company with 50+ ladders with 80,000 users, ladders consisting of Quake2, Quake3, Tribes, Half-Life, Rogue Spear, Unreal Tournament, and Kingpin.

OGL Q2CTF European open ladder
OSS v NSM: 7-6 (q2ctf3, The Smelter).

OSS versus NSM - by [NSM]Zork
Ok, now it was time to take our third position back. We picked Smelter as our map. Things couldnt start worse with only Speed as tech. Even though game was tight and our attackers had a hard time to get past amp/doc defence. So anything could happen during these 30 minutes. But OSS always seemed to have the lead by one cap. And as soon we got close they made a new one. Finally time ran out and the game ended in 6-7 to OSS. So no third place this time:( I guess we have to say it again and i quote! "Next time we will kick your sorry asses!:)" I think that this is what Q2 is all about. A nice game with nice attitudes and a lot of happy fragging. Hope we play you soon again gays:)

SPKs lose their unbeaten run - by: [savage]LittleJohn
Great game between SPKs, Merc and DS saw another battle for top spot in D1. SPKs took an early lead and held it well, increasing it further a few minutes later. Mercs then grabbed a cap and DS got in on the act too. But DS capped with 30 seconds left to go 7-6-1 up and while Seccy for SPKs was on his way back to cap DS's flag the timelimit was hit.
