We dropped the idea of the box rune orbiters because they just lacked in game recognition.. and decided to go with our backup orbiters which was an adaption of the q2 style orbiters.. here they are, Resistance, Haste, Strength, Regeneration:

      Q3 CCTF Mod ClassicCTF - News...

The Classic CTF site has been updated with a couple polls. The CCTF team wants to know which maps you like, so they can make more of them. They've got a poll for each map, and you can rate it with the options "Yes, it Rocks!", "It's Ok", or "No, it sucks!" They're making this mod for you, and only want you to be happy. Well, taht and to become rich and famous. But mostly the happiness part.

Phase 1: a huge success :) - by tom @ powerslave.net
Everyone enjoyed the group stages that were played last Sunday, in what was a very well run event. Next weekend the two remaining groups will finish, then the finals will be played out. Qualifying teams so far are: HC, Hg, RaGe and PS.

Next Sunday: Phase 2 ! (Aug 20th) - by Rico @ SavageUK
The last group match should finish at around 19:40pm.
There will then be a short break of 20 minutes before the Elimination Round. The Elimination Round will involve the 6 clans playing 5 10 minute skirmishes. These matches will all be on LFCTF1. At the end of the Elimination Round the top two clans will go through to the Quarter Finals. As all elimination matches are on the same map, the final places will be decided on cap difference in the event of a draw for this round. [more @ savageuk]

The First Savage CCTF Cup will run as scheduled on tuesday night (august 15) starting at 7 onwards. 16 Clans registered in total to play for SavageUKs first Q3CCTF Cup. The response from all the involved clans for the Cup has been excellent. The cup will take the format of a round robin system, the schedule and other info can be found here.

Week 7 - PS go top again... - by [savage]LJ

Division-1: DS lose their unbeaten run in not so good a style at the hands of PS. "Got thumped", would be the term you could expect from the DS camp, and thumped they were 21-7-1 with AFT getting the 1. This now means that with 3 games left PS and DS are on level points with PS having a better cap difference by 4. They meet again next week with IF making up the last team. IF themselves did very well in their match and trampled all over their opposition winning 24-6-1 against LD50 and NKO respectively. But an IF playing was caught using an illegal connection to the server (the kfktimer) and so have had to default their match with IF=Struis getting a 2 match ban.

Division-2: D2 this week saw ZOO come the closest so far this season to losing their unbeaten run with a cracking game against GnA and TJD winning 6-4-1 respectively. With WkB getting their first win of the season (as FRE were a no show and had to be made up from mercs) against UKSG, they now move up to joint 5th place with UKSG, which has also seen GnA take 2nd place in the division 1 point ahead of FRE and TJD.

[zoo]Ebola: Bah... I left the server 1 minute before match start because I couldn't play due to wrist pains (rsi) :( First game I missed from the beginning of the season :( ... However, my substitute DJ Complex did ok in his first 3tctf match as did the other ZOO members Baal, Jenni, Miner and Seccy... we won, a close match but we won :)

About...
The Savage Q2 3tCTF league (CTF with 3 teams) is a friendly league for enjoyable teamplay, No swearing at others or about the server... the league is played without Techs and Quad. One game of 30 minutes is played. Winner gets 3 points, Second gets 2, Third gets 1 point... the score is based on captures only.

Season 3's first week went fairly well, a couple of defaults but overall both evenings went fairly smoothly.
