      BWCTFL... Bumpy start of Season 3.

BarrysWorld CTF League

Last night Season 3 started in the BarrysWorld CTF League with wars on McKinley Revival (q2ctf1). The season start didn't go very smoothly...

BWCTFL decided to change the rules a bit and turn the Quad-Damage ON again. Reason is a 14 minute cross-steal with both flagcarriers carrying fully loaded powershields and armor and their health kept high with the megahealth. It would have been better for the balance to turn powershields off when disabling the quad but BWCTFL now decided to turn the quad on again...

L-Fire CTF Map Pack 2 Released !

I totally forgot to mention this yesterday... I did made a note about it on a little yellow memo paper but couldn't find it :) ... however...
There are 7 maps in total and some of these maps were started a year ago... You will need the full Q2 3.20 release as some maps use textures in the pak1.pak file.

Shot of the Week

A few days ago Diger and I decided to promote ClanBase while we were playing Quake3... I wrote the "C" on the wall with my Lightning-gun (sort of) and Diger wrote the "B"...
Teamwork was needed because the amount of ammo wasn't sufficient to write both "C" and "B".

Note that the "C" looks better then the "B" :)
