sic v DdB 13-1 (2-1/11-0) -

CTF2 on eDome. In the beginning we got amp and doc atleast. But sic got the first quad and capped with their first attack. Then they capped again after the second quad. Nice start... Third cap was on it's way but Nite got their flag and brought it home. Then it was the "hunt down the efc" thing which they eventually won. But now it was Shearer's time to get their flag and the same thing again. This time we won and killed their fc but they soon killed ours, grr.. I had the feeling that now it's time for us to get our 6th gear on and roll over them but no... Time was running low and we didn't manage to cap but once so we lost this one :*(
Losing at eDome was really a big shock to us. We knew that in sic's homemap that was supposed to play at TnX we would really have a hard time. But we tried to win ctf1 anyway. So we put more effort on quad camping this time. But sic got the amp in the beginning and they controlled the quad really well. Now playing with 2 defs and no amp they totally ran over us and capped...and capped....and capped...and... We actually tried to run down their base once :P Their basedef must have been surprised, first we attacked with one guy max, then we attacked with 3-4 guys at the same time. But they kept their base and pretty much our base and the quad area. Not much chance then to win it :P So they just capped and we waited the time to run out.
11-0 is a rape, let's admit that. But it wasn't caused by their great play, it was caused by our playing. I think pathetic is the best adjective to describe our playing. Nevertheless sic played well and...heh if they would have lost this one they would be worse than [DARK] was two years ago :P

VS v AoS: 2-2 (wctf1/wctf3)

VS v AoS 2-2 -
=VS= Insanity
This sure was a difficult war for us. AoS had excellent teamplay and lethal skills.
The first map q3wctf1 was a 0 - 0 tie. No caps were made and I do believe no flag ever made it past the main room. This is a very open map so visibility is optimal and you can spot a flagcarrier from miles away. We had a good mid base but really had to fight to keep our positions. AoS had the tech advantage and did an excellent job of timing those.
Luckily we managed to intercept their FC when it counted.
Map q3wctf3 was even more difficult because you have many entrances into the flagbase. Here we managed to control the mid area and we could make a capture in the first few minutes of the game. AoS made aggresive attacks on mid, a second before the haste tech spanwed, an advantage that lead them a 1 - 2 lead.
Thanks to a joint attack in the very last minute, we managed to make the score 2 - 2.
In short, a VERY exciting, difficult war.
