VSE Timer permitted in OGL
I haven't checked personally to see if it alters the quake2 executable, but if it doesn't my original assessment would still hold.
Until I find out otherwise, it'll have to be permitted. The OGL isn't going to promote it and allow it to be promoted on our website, including the BBS, but since we cannot police it (that we know of...) and since it would not violate the Quake2 license (that we know of....), nothing that I can do about it.
Enjoy making the game too easy for yourselves.
